Eating food? We all love that! We relax by eating delicious food or to socialize and bond with the people close to us over a great meal. But wouldn’t it be a cumbersome when the things that we enjoy to eat or drink affects are teeth in a bad way? Food with soy sauce, tomato sauce, or curry sauce and drinks like cola and wine can leave a stain on your teeth and your beautiful smile. Good thing there are food that you can enjoy eating while cleaning the stain away from your teeth.



 

Fancy Some Strawberries

Not only are they pleasing to look at, strawberries are also helpful in teeth whitening. Strawberries are rich in an enzyme called malic acid. To whiten your teeth, mash strawberries and rub them on your teeth. Leave for five minutes then rinse it with water followed by your brushing and flossing routine.


The Natural Cleanser

Our mouth’s self-cleaning agent is the saliva. Apples, celery and carrots are helpful as the act as natural stain removers by increasing the saliva production. Apart from this, the crunch that these food have works also in scrubbing your teeth clean.
Tart fruits like the orange and even the pineapple also cause your salivary glands to produce more saliva in washing your teeth naturally. However, using lemons directly on your teeth can be harmful. Too much acidity can damage your teeth.

Dairy products are known for its calcium content, an essential mineral for a strong teeth. Yogurt, milk, and cheese are some dairy products that are rich in lactic acid, which helps in protecting your teeth against decay.
